A La Carte Wedding Florals

Our a la carte wedding flower service is a simplified way to get the wedding florals of your dreams!

Choose from an array of designs in our whimsical, wild signature style: see photos & prices of all offerings below. We’ll create them for you in your colors, and deliver them to your venue on the morning or early afternoon of your wedding (we’ll drop them off for your helpers to set up).

Please read all the info on this page before scheduling your order.

A La Carte wedding flowers are a great option for you if you:

  • Want all local, seasonal flowers which vary according to season, even from week to week!

  • Love our signature wild, whimsical design style

  • Are super excited about allowing us complete creative freedom

  • Are not picky about what varieties of flowers you get in your designs

  • Have friends/family who are totally down for setting out all your reception flower arrangements themselves (and putting up arbor flowers if you want those).

What this service DOES NOT include:

  • Custom flower or greenery choices

  • On site setup of florals or decor

  • Precision color matching to Pinterest images, fabric swatches, etc.

  • Detailed personalization of the designs offered

  • Custom estimate/proposal with images

  • Creating designs in your containers

  • Rental of decor like candles or containers

Overall cost is based on the designs you choose, plus 6% Vermont sales tax, and a delivery fee that covers time and mileage from our studio to your venue and back. You’ll be able to see the total delivery cost when you choose which town your delivery is going to, in our booking form.

Look through the design options below, then fill out the a la carte order/booking form and we’ll get back to you with an invoice for everything within 3-4 business days.

A La Carte Wedding Floral Designs

Grand Bouquet - $225. A very large and luscious bouquet including numerous big, fluffy focal blooms (for example, peonies or dahlias when locally in season). Silk ribbon tied around stems.

Large Wild Bouquet - $190. A large and spreading, airy bouquet packed with mainly smaller “wildflowery” elements. Silk ribbon tied around stems.

Medium Bouquet - $115. About soccer ball size; great as a modest and simpler bridal bouquet or a bridesmaid bouquet on the big side. Silk ribbon tied around stems.

Small Bouquet - $75. A dainty handful of carefully arranged blooms. Silk ribbon tied around stems.

Boutonniere - $20. Cluster of foliage, textural elements, and a small flower or two to compliment the bouquets. Stems wrapped with silk ribbon; pins provided for fastening. (Magnet fastener available on request; price for magnet attached boutonniere $28 each).

Pocket Square Boutonniere - $35. A fun alternative to the traditional boutonniere, this is an elongated, varied floral creation on a base that tucks into a suit jacket chest pocket.

Corsage - $35. A pretty array of small blooms, foliage, and textural elements to compliment the bouquets, on a brass cuff bracelet base.

Flower Crown - $70. A circlet of blooms (usually clusters of small, delicate flowers with some larger ones & foliage interspersed) fastened in back & made adjustable with a white silk ribbon. Dog lovers note that this makes a fun floral dog collar too!

Hair Comb - $35. An elongated cluster of flowers, texture & foliage on a metal hair comb, designed to work on partial & full updos.

DIY Bucket - $100. A large (10 inch diameter) bucket filled with a variety of blooms and textural botanicals that compliment and match those in the bouquets. Enough to fill at least 20 small bud vases or make 1 or 2 very big arrangements.

Arbor Spray - $300. A generously sized arbor decoration to cover a corner of a ceremony backdrop structure. Zip ties are provided with this design for fastening to the structure.

Grand Container Arrangement - $200. A large and stunning arrangement in a heavy white ceramic footed container, nice for a ceremony space, reception entrance, or other area calling for a big statement. Often ~3 feet tall and wide so not suited for a table centerpiece.

Large Table Arrangement - $150. A very lush, low, and spreading arrangement in a low white ceramic footed bowl or wide glass vessel. Great as a large centerpiece.

Medium Table Arrangement - $85. A smaller but still lush and low, dimensional centerpiece, in either a modest white or gray ceramic vessel or a vintage-style glass goblet. Lovely as a single piece on a round table or dotted down the length of a long table.

Canning Jar Arrangement - $38. A whimsical, simple cluster of flowers, foliage & textural elements in a narrow mouth pint jar.

Bud Vase Trio - $54. Three small vases with a few flowers and textural botanicals in each one. Our most popular type of centerpiece. Sold as a trio since these look best in odd-numbered groups. Vases can be either mixed vintage-style clear glass, or speckled pale gray pottery in a couple mixed sizes.

FAQ

Q: Can I choose my own custom wedding flower colors?

A: Yes, absolutely! Tell us what colors you want in the Notes field in the scheduling/booking form. You may also attach 1-2 inspiration photos to the form for a color reference. We’ll match your request as closely as possible with the local, seasonal materials we use (and we’re darn good at colors!). We can’t guarantee exact color matches to photos or fabric swatches.

Q: Can I bring you my own vases/containers?

A: No, we create a la carte designs in containers we provide and sell as part of the arrangements. Standard designs and containers help us keep this service more accessible to all. We provide either clear glass or gray/white pottery containers, your choice.

Q: Do I have to bring the vases back?

A: Nope! They are yours to keep or give away to guests.

Q: Do you provide candles or candleholders as part of a la carte florals?

A: You’ll be able to source your own for cheaper than we can resell them to you. Check out QuickCandles.com or JamaliGarden.com for candles & candleholders in quantity.

Q: What days/times can flowers be done up?

A: Any date that’s available on our scheduling page is fair game! Delivery can take place between 10 am-2 pm on the chosen date. We’ll connect by email in advance to check what time in that range works best.

Q: My date isn’t available when I look at the scheduling form. Are you really unavailable that day?

A: Yes, we regret that if your date is not open on our scheduler, we cannot accommodate additional floral work for that day.

Q: Can I personalize my order with specific flowers?

A: No, the flowers we use in each a la carte wedding are designer’s choice only. We use locally grown blooms, carefully curated in the proper colors. Since local, seasonal flower availability changes a ton week to week and is rarely the same year to year, keeping flower choices flexible simplifies matters hugely and makes the designs more affordable. A la carte is all about simplicity and staying budget friendly!

Q: Do you deliver throughout Vermont, or only in certain areas?

A: We deliver to most of the northern half of Vermont— up to about 80 miles away from our studio in Craftsbury Common. This means that the top delivery charge is about $200. The scheduling form includes a dropdown list of all the towns we deliver to, plus delivery cost to each town.

Q: If my wedding location isn’t on the list of towns to which delivery is available, is there a way for me to get your flowers?

A: Yes! We can arrange to meet somewhere within a 1 hour drive of our location for you to fetch your florals from the back of our van (e.g. Stowe, Montpelier, Waterbury, St. Johnsbury, etc.). A delivery charge applies to cover our travel time and mileage. Or, on occasion, we can accommodate studio pickup here at our private home studio in Craftsbury Common.

Q: If I have questions or want more info, how can I connect with you in detail?

A: Once you schedule/book your florals, we will connect by email a couple months before your wedding to briefly check in, make sure we fully understand your plans, and double check quantities of designs. If you would like to talk over your plans in detail on the phone either before or after booking the a la carte service, a 1 hour phone consultation with head designer Eva is an option. You can check off the “1 Hour Phone Consultation” box in the order/booking form, or a call can be scheduled separately later. A phone consultation is a great way to: take advantage of our years of floristry experience plus design and event management expertise; get detailed questions answered; or get assistance with logistical concerns. Phone consultations are $80 per hour, billed at the time the consultation is scheduled.

“Eva is a total artist. If you’re lucky enough to book Blossoming Bough for your wedding, you’ll have flowers your guests will talk about long after your wedding is over. She completely captured our vision and stunned us with the beauty of what she and her team put together. Working with her was a delight — she’s a wonderful communicator, which is pretty impressive given that she grows pretty much all the flowers she uses.”
